FAMILY HOLIDAYS

Children and snow were just made to go together. They love it. Here at PT Ski we know just how to help them get the maximum enjoyment out of it. Our children’s programmes have been carefully constructed drawing on the experience of running kids skiing weeks for many years. We work closely with the local ski school to ensure that your children get the best in terms of tuition and care on the mountain. Our dedicated reps will also be on hand offering pastoral assistance and ensuring your children are happy and well looked after both on and off the ski slopes.

Children learn best when they are having fun and our tried and tested approach allows them to do just this. You can be confident that your children will be in capable hands, and with us taking care of getting them to the mountain and back to your hotel at the end of the day, you will be in the perfect frame of mind to have a wonderful day on the mountain yourself!

Below are details of all the kids’ courses that we run. All our courses are exclusive to PT Ski guests.

Pandas

For our youngest guests, typically children aged 4 and 5 (or for slightly older children who have not skied before) this is the perfect place for them to start out or gain confidence in their skiing. They will be in small groups of typically 3 – 5 children and can develop their technique at their own pace. They will be taught by specially selected English speaking instructors from the local ski school and as always with PT Ski the emphasis will be on enjoyment and not just on technique. Click here to see a video of our ‘beginner pandas’!

The hours are 9am to 4pm for 6 days. At this early stage of their skiing career it makes sense for them to have tuition every day. However plenty of opportunity will be given for you to see how they are getting on. On one night of the week they will join the Marmots or the Piste Busters for an après-ski activity such as a movie or “party” leaving you to enjoy some of the Klosters après-ski yourself.

Dates

16 – 21 February 2025

30 March – 4 April 2025

Price CHF 915 (6 days, includes lunch).

Marmots

Your child is bound to love being part of PT Marmots. Marmots will develop their skiing in a fun filled environment under the tutelage of our handpicked team of local English speaking ski instructors. Our dedicated reps will support the instructors on a pastoral basis and help supervise lunches and co-ordinate activities. This is designed for children who have skied before and can already snowplough. Complete beginners and those who are struggling to get started will be better suited to our ‘Pandas’ group.

The hours are 9am to 4pm for 5 days while there is a day off in the middle of the week for families to ski together.   On one night of the week we will arrange an après-ski activity such as a movie or “party” so all the children can meet up with their friends in the evening… and you can enjoy some quality time during happy hour!

Dates

16 – 21 February 2025

30 March – 4 April 2025

Price CHF 775 (5 days, includes lunch)

Piste Busters

For children who can already ski, Piste Busters is designed to take your children to the next level. This can range from improving their technique and confidence to introducing them to racing, off piste and jumps. The emphasis as always is on having fun and while the PT Ski reps will co-ordinate activities, the tuition will be in the hands of specially selected English speaking instructors from the local ski school.

The hours are 9am to 4pm for 5 days while there is a day off in the middle of the week for families to ski together. On one night of the week we will arrange an après-ski activity such as ice skating or bowling allowing them to carry on the fun and you to indulge in some quality après-ski time yourself.

PT All Mountain

For teenagers in year 10 and above who are already competent at skiing black runs, PT All Mountain is the ideal place for them to discover what skiing is really all about! Under the tutelage of local guides who are qualified in off piste instruction and safety the PT All Mountain group will venture anywhere looking for the best and most suitable snow conditions. Not only will they have the opportunity to learn about off piste skiing but they will also learn about mountain awareness and safety. They will learn new tricks, ski fast and no doubt find a few good jumps along the way. This is the perfect answer for teenagers hungry for adventure.
